NICE guidance on faecal incontinence was published in June 2007 based on literature published prior to October 2006. Therefore this AEU highlights relevant, good quality evidence published from October 2006 onwards focusing specifically on surgical management (including sacral nerve modulation, biofeedback and implants as advised by our surgical reviewers).
