DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\nJoin us for the 13th edition of our annual winter colorectal meeting. This joint meeting between the Coloproctology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) at St Peter’s Hospital is attended by all Colorectal Surgeons in the London Chapters and colleagues from the UK.\n\nOpen to clinicians in associated fields including gastroenterologists, GI radiologists and nurse specialists as well as trainees from all deaneries. You will have the opportunity to hear from world renowned experts on the latest advancements and how they deal with complex challenges. \n\nBy attending this meeting, you will: \n\nLearn about the latest research on advances in colorectal cancerFind out how to manage complications in colorectal surgeryTake part in a state of the art lecture on robotic surgeryHear trainees present academic short papers in prize sessionThe purpose of this meeting is to provide education and a forum for networking for trainees and colorectal surgeons. Call for abstracts - Colorectal papers for oral session\n\nDeadline for submissions: 20 November 2024\nPlease email abstracts (max 250 words) to: alison.hainsworth@gstt.nhs.uk and vanessa.brown10@nhs.net\n\nOptional dinner \n\nThere will be a dinner after the close of the meeting which you are welcome to attend.
