DESCRIPTION:A one-day meeting for multi-disciplinary specialists interested in the evolving treatment options for early rectal cancer. The introduction of screening and bowel scope means more patients are presenting with early stage disease which requires the MDT to agree complex decisions balancing the benefit of local excision against the risk of recurrent disease. This workshop, which will include an eminent faculty and break out groups to discuss case studies, will cover different multi-disciplinary aspects of current evidence for treating early rectal cancer and significant neoplasms.
