DESCRIPTION:This one and a half day course covers all aspects of the management of incisional hernias. The first half day is devoted to didactic lectures on the technical factors that lead to incisional hernia, classification of hernias and how hernia care is evolving, There will also be discussion of difficult and challenging cases and a session on pre-operative planning and anaesthetic assessment.The second day is in the cadaver laboratory and will allow delegates to perform a Rives-Stoppa incisional hernia repair and both anterior and posterior component separation and parastomal hernia repair.Course Fee: £300 includes one night’s accommodation and a course evening meal at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Day 1This course has been accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for 7.5 CPD PointsFurther information and booking
