The External Affairs Committee is responsible for the way the ACPGBI presents itself to the outside world. We are now looking to appoint two members of the Association to help us develop this work, with special responsibility for growing our social media and web presence.

Our website is undergoing considerable change and investment to enable us to reach a wider audience and respond to the needs of younger members. We wish to increase our activity in this sphere so as to develop research and educational opportunities among the profession, as well as highlight bowel awareness and new treatments for the public. We are seeking applicants from forward thinking members who can help the Association harness the power of digital media. The successful applicants will need to show enthusiasm and interest in most aspects of social media and will work closely with the Marketing and Membership Manager. Most of the commitment will be performed remotely, however, there will be 1-2 face to face meetings  and 3 telephone conferences per year.
