ACPGBI has established links with ESCP, ASCRS, CSSANZ and other International Colorectal Societies and Associations worldwide.
ACPGBI currently runs two successful reciprocal fellowships on an annual basis. This involves ACPGBI hosting two fellows - one each from the USA and Australia/New Zealand at the Annual meeting where they each present a paper and visit several centres of their choice. In return ASCRS and CSSANZ both host one fellow from ACPGBI at one of their meetings.
ACPGBI is working on the development of two European Fellows and the re-establishment of the South African Fellow and arrangement of the programmes
ACPGBI aim to establish links with Colorectal Societies throughout the world with a focus on developing countries and, where appropriate, to aid teaching, training, research and audit in colorectal disease in those countries
