There can be no hotter topic at the moment than Surgeon Specific Outcome reporting, especially for surgeons working in England. This is a matter that has burst on the scene this year and is still evolving. Data for many surgeons should have been published ahead of this meeting. However, there is much more to discuss and in this sessions we want to explore a number of themes:
- The Bowel Cancer Audit - Past and Present - how we got here what does the latest Audit tell us?
- How does the data get analysed and how do we adjust for risk?
- How can we improve the quality of data submitted?
- What can we do in the future to put surgeons at the centre of data entry?
There will be some short presentations and a lot of time for discussion, so please come along, get involved and get your opinion across.
