Biography
I am a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals Trust, where I have been in post since 1994. I trained in colorectal surgery in Minneapolis and St Paul, Minnesota as well as Birmingham. I am one of a team of 5 colorectal surgeons in Wolverhampton and am the Lead Clinician for Colorectal Cancer. My specific areas of interest include colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, anal fistula disease, proctology and endoanal ultrasound. I also have an interest in teaching in colorectal surgery and am involved in a number of regular teaching courses. I was a Co-editor of Contemporary Coloproctology and am an Associate Editor of Diseases of the Colon and Rectum. I was President of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland in 2012/3. My Private Practice is based at Summerfield Road, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton. WV1 4PR (01902-429044).
