Biography
Thomas Dudding is a colorectal surgeon and pelvic floor surgeon at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. He has a specialist interest in functional bowel disorders and neurogastroenterology.
He graduated from University College London in 2000 receiving the John Briffa prize for outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievement. After completing higher surgical training, qualifying in general and colorectal surgery, he was appointed as a consultant surgeon at University Hospital Southampton. He has a strong interest in the diagnosis and management of pelvic floor disorders with extensive experience gained from research and training at St Mark's Hospital, London.
Internationally recognised as an expert in Sacral Nerve Stimulation, he has published extensively and frequently is an invited speaker at international and national meetings and teaching courses due to his expertise in this field.
He currently is the Research and Development Chair for the National Pelvic Floor Society of Great Britain and Ireland and is the Pelvic Floor Chair for the Neuromodulation Society of United Kingdom & Ireland.
