ACPGBI seeks volunteers from among its membership, working in England & Wales, to join a Clinical Review Panel of experts who will be prepared to act as expert coloproctologists at disciplinary hearings involving fellow practitioners. The Terms of Reference are available here. The application form is available here. It is hoped to choose three people from each Chapter in England and Wales: two NHS consultants (one Teaching Hospital, one DGH) and one academic. It is anticipated that Panel members will be called upon to act not more than once per year and many are likely never to be thus summoned. Applicants must have been in post for at least ten years, be in good standing professionally and still be employed in active full or major part-time practice. Applications to be returned by email to Anne O’Mara  by 5 pm on Monday, 23rd  March 2015.
