ACPGBI is pleased to announce the establishment of a new award aimed at exceptional young coloproctologists.

This award is designed to identify and highlight colorectal trainees nationally who have been outstanding throughout their training and have shown excellence in the areas of research and academia, leadership or education and training. This initiative provides a platform to recognise and encourage talent amongst colorectal trainees. Applicants must be trainees ST7 and above who hold a national training number and are a member of the ACPGBI. They must also be supported by an ordinary member of the ACPGBI. The successful applicant will be awarded free registration for the 2016 ACPGBI annual meeting (4-6 July 2016 in Edinburgh) and receive a certificate at the awards ceremony on 4 July. The closing date for applications is 29 January 2016.
