The ASCRS (American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons) International Committee offers several travel scholarships to attend the ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting. Additionally, we offer several International Scholarships intended to support travel to the meeting as well as one or more training program in the United States prior to or following the meeting.

These scholarships have been awarded primarily to under-served regions of the world, yet the Committee is open to accepting applications from any young surgeon participating in the development of colorectal training or treatment programs. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 January 2016. Successful applicants will be notified in February 2016 and will be expected to attend the ASCRS Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, April 30-May 4, 2016 and visit at least one colon and rectal specialty clinic while in the United States.
