The Bowel Disease Research Foundation (BDRF) in partnership with IA (The Ileostomy and Internal pouch Support Group) and The Kingston Trust are jointly funding a study with the aim of improving outcomes for people with an ileostomy.

Research Topic

Any high quality research project based on improving outcomes for patients with ileostomies will be considered. Applications which particularly focus on ileostomies in patients over the age of 50, in view of the charitable aims of the Kingston Trust, are encouraged.

Grants

Grant awards up to a maximum of £150k will be considered but it is envisaged that projects will be funded typically around £50k - £75k.

Timings
