Election to Emergency General Surgery Sub-committee
06 December 2018
We have a vacancy for one elected member on this committee.
Eligibility: this vacancy is open to ordinary members.
Deadline for receipt of applications: Friday, 4 January 2019
The Emergency General Surgery Sub-committee reports to the Multidisciplinary Clinical Committee, currently chaired by Ciaran Walsh.
The EGS Sub-committee was established 3 years ago in response to a perceived need by the Association for specific recognition in this area.
It has 2-3 teleconferences a year and aims to meet face to face at the ACPGBI annual meeting. A vacancy has arisen as a result of Asha Senapati demitting office as Chair and Andy Miller (an elected member of the committee) being elected her successor.
