There is increasing awareness and evidence of surgeons leaving clinical practice sooner than expected.

This is at a time when demand for surgical care has never been greater in the UK and Ireland.

This survey is to learn from you if you are considering retirement, and if so what factors have led you to this choice.

This survey also asks your opinion on what could be improved to retain surgeons for longer in practice. This will help the Royal Colleges and the Specialty Associations to influence change.

The survey has 14 questions and will take 8 minutes to complete .
