We invite you to apply for a $7,500 (£4,194) travel grant to participate in the joint meeting on colorectal surgery in Australia and New Zealand on Friday 17 November and Saturday 18 November 2023 in the Gold Coast, QLD Australia.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to visit several Australian and New Zealand centres to extend their experience and contact with the colorectal community in the two countries.

The CSSANZ is funding this fellowship.

Open to ACPGBI ordinary members

The successful applicant:

• Will be committed to a career in colorectal surgery
• Needs to be on the Specialist Register and have obtained a CCT or equivalent within 10 years or less of deadline for applications
• Must be a member of the Association of Coloproctology of GB and Ireland

Applications should comprise:

• A curriculum vitae
• A letter explaining why the applicant wishes to travel to the Australia/New Zealand and how they feel they will be able to fill the role of ambassador for the ACPGBI in Australasia
• An abstract that the paper will be based upon
• The names of two referees.  References will be taken up prior to interview
• The name of the centre(s) that the applicant would like to visit.
