Deadline for applications : Monday 3 March 2025

ACPGBI is currently accepting applications for its Robotic Fellowships.

To qualify, applicants must have the following criteria:

  • Attained/ passed FRCS
  • Be a member of ACPGBI/Dukes’ Club,
  • Demonstrate level 4 competencies as required for CCT.

Applicants must also illustrate their plans to advance robotic practice after the fellowship, commit to writing a report and provide a logbook of procedures performed post-fellowship.

The application process involves submitting a letter to the ACPGBI Honorary Secretary, a CV, and a letter of support.

The selected training units for this fellowship are East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust  and Glasgow.

The fellowship includes funding that covers the salary commensurate to the year of training, with the program commencing in October 2025.

The ACPGBI plan to appoint up to 4 fellows, each for a 6 month period, between the selected training centres.

Two will be appointed for October 2025 for 6 months, two will start April 2026.

Selection will be based on shortlisting and subsequent interview.

Fellows will receive complimentary registration to the ACPGBI Annual Meeting and the Advanced Coloproctology Course during their fellowship year.
