About ACPGBI

Justin Davies

I am delighted that our AI and Data Management Taskforce, led by James Kinross, is looking to seek the ACPGBI memberships opinion as to what matters to us in this important space.

Please do take the brief survey to help inform this important work, and the link for this is here- it will take just a few minutes of your time and is much appreciated. https://imperial.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cBivy2gSV3U0pfg

Education remains very much a core element of ACPGBIs work. Our flagship virtual educational event, the Advanced Coloproctology Course, takes place next month and there is still time to register for this exciting, Tripartite-themed edition of ACC.

Please follow the link here to register- you won’t be disappointed!

Registration for the 2025 Annual Meeting in Harrogate 30 June to 2 July opens later this month. All named lecturers have confirmed their attendance, the expanded and cutting edge Training Hub for hands-on, in-person training is taking shape nicely and we have elected to keep abstract submission open until 28 February. Please do submit your work, via this link

In terms of attendance at educational and any other ACPGBI events, we have been working closely with The Royal College of Surgeons of England to develop our Code of Conduct. This very clearly outlines our stance on behaviours, and is aimed at ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ACPGBI events. I am most grateful to all members for their support with this.
