Led by Sue Alves and the Peritoneal Malignancy Institute in Basingstoke, the 3rd International Peritoneal Malignancy Workshop for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals covers different aspects of specialist nursing for complex cases, recent advances in practice and psychological aspects of treatment.
This workshop is an ideal opportunity for in depth discussion on the treatment, care and challenges associated with this complex condition. Building on the previous two workshops, this will include psychological support, managing pain and delivering physiotherapy. The workshop will encourage discussion and networking between established centres as well as those setting up a service for peritoneal malignancy.
