Qualified in medicine at University Hospital in 1969. Surgical demonstrator at Cambridge University. Senior surgical registrar rotation and specialist accreditation at UCH. Resident Assistant Surgeon at UCH 1976, Surgical Assistant, St Marks Hospital 1976-77. Appointed as Consultant General Surgeon to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Essex; St Margaret's Hospital, Epping and Herts& Essex Hospital, Bishops Stortford 1988-2010, now retired from NHS.
