Biography
I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2003, graduating from Northumbria University with a first-class honours degree. After completing my basic rotations as a junior Physiotherapist in the NHS, I pursued a career in Women’s and Men’s Health and now work across both the NHS and in private practice.
I have a special interest in managing pelvic floor dysfunction and spend a proportion of my clinical time working as a lower GI Physiologist, undertaking the Anorectal Physiology testing at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
I strive to ensuring our patients receive high quality care and improve our holistic management approach and service provision at all opportunities. I am passionate about embedding evidence-based practice into my clinical practice, completing my Masters degree and publishing my research.
In my spare time I enjoy running and travelling up and down the country with my son who plays ice hockey.
