Early incorporation of patients in research has been a trademark of our research programme. Surgical sandpits and Delphi Games We host ‘surgical sandpits’ for brainstorming of research ideas. The sandpits later became known as the ‘Delphi Games’ and were used to develop the Delphi programme. ACPGBI Delphi programme Our thriving research programme is based on research priorities chosen by our members in a Delphi exercise, and used as a model for other professional societies. GRANULE: next generation researchers As well as supporting current researchers, we have invested in the next generation through the GRANULE workshops for medical students.
